Indian Shock Jock Dr. Zakir Naik gets Padma Vibhushan award

The Modi government surprised the world when they announced that Dr. Zakir Naik, the infamous talk show host, was awarded the highest civilian award. It came as a surprise for everyone, but the Congress party’s opposition leader believed it was just a ploy to lure him back to India so he could be used to get the Muslim Votes.

The Indian PM Modi had praised Naik’s comments during a dialogue with Mahathir at the Bollywood Film fare Award in September. “I think Dr. Naik has big followers on Facebook and Twitter, and we need to leverage that to make some money,” said Mr. Modi when asked about his intention. When Mr. Modi was asked about Dr. Naik’s travel ban to USA and Canada, he said, “Well before I became a president, the US department of state had me in the no-fly category and was effectively banned from traveling to the US that tells you how fickle minded these westerners are.”

Dr. Zakir Naik was pressed on several points by Faux News reporters, particularly his stance on Gay rights, polygamy, etc. He said, “If you read encyclopedia Britannica section G page number forty-five, paragraph six, it says Gay means cheerful or happy, so I think everyone has the right to be Gay, and I am very gay that I was awarded the Padma Vibhushan award, but I am not gay about the false allegations that are placed on me about wearing Bluetooth headset to answer questions, everything I say is from my memory.”

Our reporter for this article, Mr. Gaylord Focker, said after completing this assignment “He now feels safe to come out gay.”

Zakir Naik is an Islamic preacher and televangelist from India. He is the founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), based in Mumbai, India. Naik has also been associated with the Peace TV network based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Naik is known for his lectures on Islam and comparative religion, which he delivers in English, Hindi, and Urdu. His lectures often focus on the Islamic faith and its teachings and compare and contrast Islam with other religions.

Naik’s views and statements on religion and politics have been controversial, and he has been accused of promoting extremist views and inciting religious hatred. Some of his statements have been criticized as sexist, anti-Semitic, and supporting terrorism.

Naik is currently a fugitive from Indian authorities, who have accused him of money laundering and delivering speeches that promote religious hatred. He has lived in Malaysia since 2016 and was granted permanent residency there. However, in 2019, the Malaysian government banned him from giving public speeches, citing concerns about his views and statements.
